On March 18th, the shooting period for our new Telefilm 'Project Herbert' began. Written by Gaby Cochavi, Inge Sonderen, and Roos van der Werff (Pink Robin Stories), directed by Barbara Bredero, starring Thomas Höppener in the titular role, alongside Celia van den Boogert, Faye Kimmijser, Isabelle Kafando, André Dongelmans, Harvey Elgood, Coen Bril, Yip Andjar, Nazmiye Oral, and others.
When reserved municipal officer HERBERT (40) is finally kicked out of his childhood home by his mother, he encounters an overheated housing market. After several desperate attempts, he mistakenly gains entry into a student house, where the vibrant and chaotic student life not only turns his life upside down but also that of the students permanently.
We are shooting on location in Vlaardingen, Middelie, Badhoevedorp, Duivendrecht, and Amsterdam. In co-production with AVROTROS, supported by CoBO, expected to air on NPO3 in late 2024/early 2025.
