Smoke like a Turk

The Dutch/Turkish boy CIHAN (9) is about to become a "real man" during his sunnet ceremony, just like his uncle Kemal once did—his greatest role model. However, he is terrified of the circumcision but tries to hide his fear from his cousin Ozgur. When the pressure becomes too much, Cihan flees from his family, escaping the grand banquet hall to hide in an alley. From there, he suddenly sees his uncle Kemal kissing the waitress—not his aunt Emel. As his family gets closer to finding him, Cihan overcomes his fear and decides to "protect" his uncle. However, in doing so, he gets caught and is forced to return to the sunnet celebration.
